Empowering Youth
At Maqlaqs Gaa’tkni we are proud of our youth. We see the challenges they face, and we stand with them every step of the way.
We provide mentorship, culturally grounded education, hands‑on training, and a welcoming community to help young people find the stability, support, and encouragement that honor their identities as Native youth. Our programs are built to recognize each young person’s strengths, nurture leadership, and strengthen ties to family, culture, and community.
Through one-on-one mentorship and group workshops, we offer safe spaces where questions are welcomed and growth is celebrated. Our training initiatives build practical skills for education and employment, while our cultural programs teach language, traditions, and intergenerational knowledge. Together, these supports help youth gain confidence, set goals, and contribute positively to their communities.
We believe when Native youth are supported in ways that respect who they are, they thrive — becoming leaders, creators, and caretakers of their communities. Maqlaqs Gaa’tkni stands with them, today and for the future.
